How to Sell When You Can’t Sell?

I tend to switch off when people try to ‘sell’ me something too explicitly. I respond differently when someone explains to me their purpose and a vision – especially if I feel they are authentic and I can trust them. This approach tends to draw me in – if I believe in what they are doing, the product is just a way for me to join that ‘tribe’ that share similar values.

I try to practice this with Kill Kapture by speaking more about my time in the military and how today it links me to my pursuit of purpose and prioritising mission and team over self.
